FROM THE SOUTH You have 2 choices of exits from Rt. 95 North. It is quicker to take the Wells exit.
Directions using Exit 19 - Wells Exit
Take the I-95 North into Maine. After going thru the York Toll Plaza ($1.50), I-95 becomes the Maine Turnpike. Your first exit on the Maine Turnpike is Exit 19 Wells (Formerly Exit 2). Get off this Wells Exit 19 and turn left after the toll booth onto Route 9 East toward Wells. Follow Route 9 until you reach a traffic light where you must turn either left or right (you'll see Cumberland Farms across the street). Turn left at that traffic light. You'll notice Route 9 merges with Route 1 North here. Go 1.8 miles on Route 9 / Route 1 and then (shortly after you see the Maine Diner on your right) turn right where Route 1 and Route 9 part--just follow signs for Kennebunkport and Route 9. This is a long stretch of road. We are exactly 3.9 miles on your left -- #35 Western Ave (Route 9) -- beside Mekhong Thai restaurant*, below Clippers Hair Salon, and in the same parking lot as the River Tree Arts Center. If you reach the traffic light (where you see a Sunoco Gas Station across the street and where Route 9 crosses Route 35), you have gone too far. Worse, if you drive over the little bridge and into Kennebunkport with all the shops, you need to turn around.
Directions from Exit #25 - Kennebunk Exit
Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) North to Kennebunk Exit 25. After the toll booths, go left on Route 35 South. You'll be staying on Route 35 despite some twists and turns. Go about 1 mile and just past the Kennebunk High School you will come to a tiny Rotary. Take your 2nd right out of the rotary staying on Route 35 South. Go another half mile and at the first Traffic Light go left onto Route 1 North. Go 100 yards on Route 1 North before taking a Right at the First Traffic Light and you'll be back on Route 35 South. Go 3.5 miles and at the next light (intersection with Route 9) go right and we are a quarter mile down Route 9 on your right -- #35 Western Ave (Route 9) -- beside Mekhong Thai restaurant*, below Clippers Hair Salon, and in the same parking lot as the River Tree Arts Center.
FROM THE NORTH You have 2 choices of exits from Rt. 95 South. It is quicker to take the Biddeford exit. Directions using Exit 32 - Biddeford Exit
Follow Maine Turnpike (I-95 South) to Exit 32, Biddeford/Rt 111 Exit. After the toll booths, go straight thru lights crossing over Route 111. Go 1 mile and take a RIGHT at next set of lights onto Rt.1 South. Go about 3 miles and at the next set of lights, turn LEFT onto Log Cabin Road. (Log Cabin Road becomes North St.) Just follow it straight for approximately 6 miles (passing the Seashore Trolley Museum half-way) into Kennebunkport. Take a right onto Spring Street into Kennebunkport's "Dock Square" (leaving the white-columned Nott House behind you). Drive through “Dock Square” (you'll see lots of shops) and cross over the tiny bridge until you come to a traffic light (where Route 9 crosses Route 35)--there will be a Sunoco Gas Station on your right. Go straight thru this traffic light.
